A. Research Interest

My research is focused on ‘Biomaterials for regenerative medicine and their use in drug delivery systems. I am interested in developing biodegradable polymer-based composites for bone, cartilage, skin, heart, nerve, ocular, and gastrointestinal tract tissue engineering. Rational design and development of novel biodegradable polymer scaffolds with customized properties tailored to deliver drugs in a time-dependent manner to induce specific tissue regeneration is my considerable interest. Furthermore, I am working on surface modification of the scaffolds to improve cell interaction and enhanced properties in vivo.
