- Background
The library of the faculty was founded in 1368 and was opened formally in the new building of the
faculty with the area of about 450 square meters in 1372. The facilities of the library involves
women's study, men's study and magazines study. - Available References Books
There are 11000 books in the library, 3000 books in persian and 8000 volumes in latin.
These books are in the fields of Computer and Electronic, Construction, Surveying, Mathematics,
Chemistry and Mechanic. Compact Discks (CDs)
1- IEEE : 600 Magazines
The library is subscribed 15 Persian Magazines and 53 Latin ones. They are published weekly,
monthly or quarterly. In the meantime the magazines of the past times are available in the

There are 663 BA and MA Dessertations in the fields of Chemistry, Surveying , Computer and Medical Engineering in the
library. - How to use the Library
All Staff of University of Isfahan, University of Medical Sciences of Isfahan and University of
Technology of Isfahan can use the library with their ID Cards. All the students of the University
of Isfahan can use the library with their membership cards of the Central library. The University
professory can borrow 10 books for a month and post-graduate students can borrow 5 books for 20 days.
Bachelor Students can borrow 3 books for 10 days. Magazines, Dessertations and Compact Discks are
not Borrowed, but they can be used just in the library. - Time-Table of the Library
The library is open from 8 to 18 every day except thursdays and fridays. - The Library Staff
Sima Mohammadi, the manager, Zahra Rahimi, Setareh Zakerian , the librarians are the
